1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CiteBrand ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

CiteBrand is an AI Search Visibility Platform that:

  • Tracks your brand's visibility across AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)
  • Calculates AI Visibility Scores based on mentions and citations
  • Provides competitive analysis against other domains
  • Offers insights and recommendations to improve AI visibility

3. AI System Disclosure

Important: This service queries external AI platforms on your behalf. Your search queries are processed by third-party AI systems including ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and Perplexity. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies or biases. The Visibility Scores we provide are calculated using our proprietary algorithm and should be used as one of many data points in your decision-making.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
  • One person may not maintain multiple free accounts

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

5.1 Plans

  • Free: 10 queries/month, 1 domain
  • Solo ($149.99/month): 100 queries/month, 1 domain, 3 competitors
  • Growth ($499.99/month): 1,000 queries/month, 20 domains, 25 competitors per domain
  • Enterprise: custom query, domain, and support terms

5.2 Billing

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings
  • Refunds are provided within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service beyond provided APIs
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or infringe on others' rights
  • Submit malicious queries designed to manipulate AI responses

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by CiteBrand
  • You retain ownership of data you submit (domains, queries)
  • AI responses retrieved through our Service belong to their respective AI providers
  • Our Visibility Scores and analysis are proprietary to CiteBrand

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI Visibility Scores or AI responses
  • AI platform responses may change without notice
  • We are not responsible for actions taken based on our insights
  • Third-party AI platforms may have their own terms and limitations

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CiteBrand shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your subscription.

12. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time from Account Settings
  • We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CiteBrand operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU users, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
